WARD NO. 9 — The horror that hears you breathe

You are trapped in an abandoned psychiatric hospital. Pitch black surrounds you. Your only lifeline is a flashlight with a rapidly dying battery, and something is hunting you in the dark.

WARD NO. 9 is an intense indie survival horror where your every step, every beam of light, and even your real-life voice can get you killed. Can you escape without losing your mind?

Game Features:

• 🎤 The Monster Hears You (Literally): The game features full microphone integration. If you scream in terror or breathe too heavily while hiding in a locker, the monster will find you. Hold your breath.
• 🧠 Unpredictable AI: The creature doesn't just patrol fixed routes; it stalks you. It reacts to your flashlight, hears your footsteps, breaks down locked doors, and methodically searches lockers and hiding spots if it senses you are nearby.
• 🌑 Sanity System: The darkness drives you mad. Staying in the dark for too long or making direct eye contact with the monster triggers a racing heartbeat and terrifying hallucinations.
• 🏢 Three Brutal Stages: Survive the Upper Floor by finding fuses to power the elevator. Navigate the Blood Basement to find valves hidden in a dense, oppressive fog. Finally, escape through The Courtyard by searching a moonlit forest for bolt cutters to break the fence.
• 📼 PS1 Retro Aesthetics: Adjustable pixel rendering, procedural sound effects, and a crushing ambient soundtrack perfectly capture the dread of classic 90s horror.
